  • LENTEN OPPORTUNITIES for CHRISTIAN EDUCATION
  • BYOBible: Tuesdays 12:00pm     An opportunity to look at the readings used at Serivce on Sunday, sharing insights, thoughts, questions and some lunch! Meets in the homes of participants.
  • ON FORGIVENESS: Tuesdays 7:30pm     A five-part discussion on the act of forgiveness as inspired by the stories of real people in our times who have struggled with this call to wholeness and freedom. Disucssions based on the viewing of The Power of Forgivenss by Martin Doblmeier; the Director of BONHOEFFER. Meets at church.
  • 1CORINTHIANS 15:10     “But by the grace of God I am what I am.”  Discussing what it means to be called to follow Christ and to be authentic to our sexual orientation as we understand it today. LGBT (and Straight!) Church members looking at Scripture, teachings and tradition as we own our status of being an “Open and Affirming” Congregation within the UCC.
  • CHURCH SCHOOL for AGES 5-7 and 8-10: First Saturday of each Month     Helping our young ones grow in an understanding of the love and care of God for them and the world around them.  Teachers are always welcome to share their faith journey. Next Class will be Saturday, April 2nd.
  • CONFIRMATION CLASS     Preparing teens and adults for the confirming of their faith within the First United Community.
